I called and left a message requesting a consultation and estimate on Monday. Got estimate on Wednesday to remove two huge old Oaks and trim several other trees. Today is Friday and the crew is already cleaning up after completing the job. I never dreamed it would be so quick! These guys are AMAZING! They were here at 8:30am and gone by 10:30 after cutting down and removing 7 trees, BIG TREES! They spread out and tackled different areas of the lot ( 5 acres). Tom and Chris were phenomenal to work with from start to finish! Tom came out to my property and gave me a fair and straightforward estimate to clean up all my hedges, prune two large magnolia trees, a tall palm, and several smaller palms.They kept in constant communication, showed up exactly when they said they would, and delivered results that absolutely blew me away. My yard has never looked better!

They were working in our neighborhood. I asked them to give me a estimate to remove a tree in our back yard that had its roots heading towards our patio. He gave me the estimate and a military discount for my 30 years military service. Great team to watch work. Everyone had their job to do and was done very efficiently without getting in each others way or asking for help. If I had more trees to remove I would definitely call them again! I got some free work done by these guys today. They showed up about 15 minutes early, which was a great thing. They had a half a dozen guys work together like a team well oiled. They got the job done in a little over an hour and a half. They cleaned up after themselves and took everything away. You never know they were here. The owner Chris, who is also the lead cutter did a fantastic job. He even did a little extra that was not on a quote. The price was right and the professionalism was awesome. I hired Dead or Alive to remove 3 large maple trees. One of them was growing right overtop of my vinyl fence and very expensive custom gate and automatic opener. It needed to go before it fell on it, but I had no idea how anyone was going to get it down without something falling on it! Chris, the owner, was amazing. Firstly, they have all the right equipment, which is something you need to look for. He had a boom truck, so he could get all the way to the top of the tree, and cut small enough pieces to break it down, and not jeopardize whatever is underneath. They also have a chipper, so you’d be amazed how much stuff can just disappear into mulch! They have a large bobcat for the big trunks. But they have a small, standup bobcat they used on my lawn, just so they didn’t damage the grass or put ruts in the yard. Chris does all the technical cutting, and I was amazed how easily he dismantled the three growing over my fence and gate. And he did the same to the other two trees as well. He has 3 other guys on the crew, who were all cutting up the stuff on the ground, and hauling it off. They start work early, they had saws running by 8. These aren’t guys who are out partying all night, and show up glazed over. These are professional and conscientious guys. In fact, they were so much so, that they were literally on their hands and knees raking up the tiny stuff by hand, so nothing was left behind. There were some big divots in the yard, where large branches fell, and kind of sunk into my lawn. They told me about them and we filled them in with dirt and mulch. I just cant say enough for this whole crew. I’d highly recommend Dead or Alive Tree service and the owner Chris for any work you need done. And I found their price to be VERY affordable too. - 6/10/2024
I highly recommend this company. We had them take down 7 large oak trees that were destroying our driveway, and they did an excellent job. Chris was easy to work with, they arrived when promised, and his crew worked very quickly and efficiently. They took a lot of care to grind the stumps down and clean up when they were done.
